How does LED Therapy work?

The device uses high-intensity LED panels that emit clinically proven wavelengths of red, blue, and near-infrared light. These lights penetrate different layers of the skin to trigger various cellular processes:

💡 Red Light (633nm) – Stimulates collagen and elastin, boosts circulation, calms inflammation, and improves skin texture and tone.
💡 Blue Light (415nm) – Targets and destroys acne-causing bacteria in the pores, reduces breakouts, and soothes irritation.
💡 Near-Infrared Light (830nm) – Penetrates the deepest to promote healing, reduce redness, and support recovery after treatments or skin injury.

Unlike lasers or IPL, LED light does not generate heat or damage skin, making it safe, gentle, and suitable for all skin types.

The Dermalux Flex MD wraps comfortably around the face or body (it’s flexible and curved to contour to your treatment area), ensuring even light distribution and maximum skin absorption for fast, effective results.

Who is it for?

LED therapy is perfect for anyone looking to improve their skin health, no matter your skin type or concern. It’s especially helpful if you:

  • Suffer from acne or hormonal breakouts
  • Have sensitive or red skin (like rosacea)
  • Want to boost collagen and glow
  • Are recovering from treatments like microneedling or peels
  • Just want a relaxing skin pick-me-up!

How often should I get LED Therapy?

Best results are seen with a course of treatments:

  • 2-3 sessions per week for 4-6 weeks (depending on your skin goals and concerns)
  • After that, weekly or fortnightly sessions are ideal for ongoing maintenance and long-term results (to be discussed and advised by your skin therapist)
